Camp Milagros

My tenth year (plus or minus) at Camp Milagros, working with kids with arthritis and arthritis-related diseases. One of my highlights of the year. Really enjoyed this year because we moved to a much more modern camp run by the Taylor Family Foundation, in Pleasanton.

Day 2 at Camp Milagros. Kids got to go on boats at the lake today.  Lindsey got interviewed and will be in a news feature.

Good morning Milagros. Going to be a great day with our campers. Another new activity this year, horseback riding.

Your camp seems to be fun! I love seeing the smile of children who joined your camp. I want to go to a camp too, especially during summer vacation. Staying inside the house all day is really boring. I want to experience some extreme outdoor activities just like what you held in your camp. I'm sure that I will enjoy those activities once I join your camp. I will tell my parents this camp and I'm sure they will allow me.

On August 14, 2013, I'm flying to Vancouver, British Columbia and beginning a 29-day, 1,880-mile bike ride from Canada to Mexico.

On this page you'll find random ramblings before, during, and after my trek down the Pacific Coast. Prior to BikeTheCoast13, I'll blog about my prep, training, and thoughts from the road.
While visiting my blog, I hope you'll offer comments, suggests, and words of encouragement.  I'm going to need all the help I can get!

For those who don't know me or my inspiration, please take a moment to check out the Why Now? tab to meet my daughter Lindsey and find out how I got here.

If this site helps or inspires you in any way, I hope you'll consider making a small donation to the cause.
