Day 11: Arizona Beach, OR to Brookings, OR

I hug the coast today, rolling over the Rogue River Bridge and into Gold Beach. No other towns to speak of before Brookings, the biggest town since Astoria, and my last stop before leaving Oregon. After 6 days of supported group riding where I had the good fortune to meet many great supporters of the Arthritis Foundation cause, it will be just me and my panniers again after today, until I get to San Francisco.

Jeff - your opportunity to get up and talk about Lindsey's challenge & how she is meeting it "head on" is inspiring, as is Lindsey's toughness,positiveness and determination. Then to see people you are just crossing paths with step up to donate to "lend a hand" for Lindsey and all the others that are struggling with the Arthritis challenge, well let's just say it warms the old human heart - BIG TIME!
