Day 16: Fort Bragg, CA to Gualala, CA

Very chilly, clear morning today in Fort Bragg.  Glorious view of the Pacific will be off my right shoulder all day. I pass through artsy Mendocino at mile 9 and then quiet roads until stopping in the tourist village of Gualala after 60 breezy miles in the saddle.

Might have to stretch breakfast out a bit here cuz it's cold!

Jeff - the town of Mendacino, one of my all time favorites - so picturesque! So beautiful and right off the artists canvas's or right out of the movies! In fact I will be dating myself but the movie "The Russians Are Coming" was filmed in and around this town. If you have never seen it get it on Netflex and watch it sometime back home when you "nursing your wounds" from your epic ride! Terry

On August 14, 2013, I'm flying to Vancouver, British Columbia and beginning a 29-day, 1,880-mile bike ride from Canada to Mexico.

While visiting my blog, I hope you'll offer comments, suggests, and words of encouragement.  I'm going to need all the help I can get!

For those who don't know me or my inspiration, please take a moment to check out the Why Now? tab to meet my daughter Lindsey and find out how I got here.
