Day 21: Monterey, CA to Big Sur, CA

This scenic day starts with awesome golf-course studded shorelines in Pacific Grove and Carmel. The miles cycling along 17-Mile Drive melt away and then a short climb to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and the conclusion this relatively short 45-miler. It's a warm, clear morning - perfect conditions for this spectacular day on the bike.

Jeff, your comments about how it "hurt so good" reminded me so much of the inspiration I felt from my Mom in the last years of her life and how that propelled me every mile on the PCC. Hope the days continue to unfold just the way you want them to!

Hey! Looking great out there.... I cant believe all of the beautiful things you are seeing... who knew you were this artsy?!?! Haha well you should know our comments seriously mean a lot because Bones is on live right now... so good luck and we're proud of you! We all miss you, although not so much Autumn because she is loving sleeping in her Mama's bed:)
